Know Grow Show

At Sesser First Baptist, we are dedicated to making sure everyone has the opportunity to KNOW the love of Jesus , GROW in the love of Jesus, and SHOW the love of Jesus to others.

Letting people KNOW the love of Jesus is our top priority. We believe God created us in His image and when we sinned against Him, Jesus took the blame for our sins on the cross. He offers us His forgiveness through His grace if we place our faith in Him. So it’s our desire to let everyone KNOW this love of Jesus by sharing it with each person we meet and with each visitor who comes into our services.

But it’s also important for everyone to GROW in the love of Jesus. We believe the Bible is God’s Word and we want to help everyone grow in their understanding and application of His Word, so they can grow in Christ’s love. To do this, we offer Sunday School, Life Groups and other Bible studies.

We also want everyone to actively SHOW the love of Jesus to others not just inside our church but outside our four walls. as well. We want to create opportunities for people to show the love of Jesus in events we host in our community, through individual acts of service, and through words of love and hope as we live our lives alongside our neighbors.
